Biostatistical Analysis

To strengthen the credibility of biostatistical research projects and collaborations, the SAMRC:

  • Provides input on the design of research documents (protocols, questionnaires, reports and manuscripts);
  • Manages power calculations for health surveys and clinical trials;
  • Develops biostatistical methods to highlight the results of collaborative projects; and
  • Offers biostatistical and biomedical postgraduate supervision, short courses and workshops to support the next generation of researchers.
