Minister of Health appoints New MRC Board

The Minister of Health, Dr Manto Tshabalala-Msimang recently appointed new members to the South African Medical Research Council (MRC) Board. The new Board includes 5 new members, plus 7 from the old Board.  Their term of office is 1 November 2007 to 31 October 2010. 

The Minister has appointed Prof Kuku Voyi as Chairperson of the new Board and Prof Solomon Rataemane as Vice-Chairperson.  The members of the Board are as follows:
