Transmission of tuberculosis (TB) in health care facilities, household, community and other congregate settings is a major challenge to TB control and public health. The high rate of health care worker infection coupled with the convergence of the TB/HIV epidemics is a cause for concern, prompting immediate scale up of infection control measures including monitoring and evaluation and assessments of Infection Control in our health care settings.

This course is organized by the TB Epidemiology and Intervention Research Unit in collaboration with the MRC Conference Centre.
