Pharmacist

This position entails responsibility for:

• Establishing and maintaining a research Pharmacy at the clinical site
• Implementing a study product management system which includes the ordering, receipt, storage, dispensing, accountability and destruction of study products.
• Development of Pharmacy standard operating procedures and guidelines in compliance with the protocol, Good Clinical Practice and Good Pharmacy Practice.
• Implementing quality control measures to ensure a high standard of pharmacy data
• Supervision of the activities of the Pharmacist Assistant

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy council as a Pharmacist
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Pharmacist
• Excellent computer skills, good organizational skills , and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of the national drug policy and pharmacy practice legislation
• Clinical research experience  and science writing skills would be an advantage

A cost-to-company remuneration package of R300 000 - R349 000 per annum, will be negotiated in accordance with qualifications and experience.
