The International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH), the South African Medical Research Council, the South African Department of Health and the Presidential National Commission (PNC), are proud to announce that the 11th ISfTeH International Conference was held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from 26 to 29 November 2006.

This was the first time the conference was held in Africa and points to the increasing recognition of telemedicine and e-health in developing countries, particularly those in Africa.
