Evidence-based Practice Training Workshops and Sessions
Evidence-based practice training workshops and sessions are held regularly in centres around South Africa.
Learning objectives:
At the end of the workshop, participants will
- Have knowledge and understanding of the principles of evidence based practice;
- Have knowledge and understanding of The Cochrane Collaboration and the South African Cochrane Centre;
- Have working knowledge of The Cochrane Library;
- Have an understanding of the process of conducting a Cochrane review and the differences between traditional narrative reviews and systematic reviews; and
- Be able to interpret the results of meta-analyses.
